They're new. They come with a light powder (related to how they're made) on them when new, which makes them look dirty.
I have 19 of these for sale, I'll pick the cleanest 2. (some look better than others)

the 55? its got 160mm travel since its oem, and its supose to be used for all mountain, i wouldn't say xc cause its a bit on the heavy side, and some freeride
